best foot forward

fall fall fall
boots boots boots

if there is ever a shoe that embodies a season, it is the boot. just type "boot" into the pinterest search bar and 9 out of 10 pictures have the word "fall" in the description. rarely are they practical for summer so instead they sit in the closet and await the cooler temperatures when they can be worn in a variety of ways. i myself start imagining the different ensembles right around late july and usually break them out that early (usually with regret by the end of the day due to overheating). especially with so many options and styles and price ranges, boots are everywhere. i can't wait to pair some of mine with deep purple and maroon toned tights and dresses, chunky knit socks, leggings, jeans, etc, etc. i am currently saving up for a pair of hunter wellies in navy so that i can slop around campus in them.

today's boots are brought to you by born. not only are they incredibly cute, but they are incredibly comfortable! i can walk around in these for days and not regret a single moment. i love the extra rich carmel coloring of the soft leather and the low heel makes them ideal for a) not being 20 feet taller than everyone and b) walking around. the other big score on these was that i got them for a fraction of the original price. oh! and the tread on the bottom are acorns :)

*worn with forever21 jeans, betsey johnson socks, white t and army jacket
